Listening to or saying affirmations alone is not enough for you to become prosperous.

"But don't we manifest what we think?"

Yes, we do.

"So, then why isn't it enough to just think prosperously?"

Because we never just think something.

A more complete statement would be that we manifest what we think because what we think affects what we feel and decide and do, all of which combine to create the results we experience in life (i.e., what we manifest).

"So, you're saying it's NOT the Law of Attraction that makes us prosperous? It's all 'us' and what we do?"

No. I'm saying the Law of Attraction works through what we think, feel, decide and do.

The Law of Attraction's Friends

I'm also saying there are other laws that have gotten far less press lately. Some of these include the Law of Sowing and Reaping and the Law of Giving and Receiving.

Both of these laws basically explain that you get what you give.

If you give love, you get love. If you give hate, you get hate. If you give prosperously, you get prosperity.

"So, what does any of this have to do with affirmations?"

Well, giving (i.e., acting) prosperously requires that you decide to do so. And you won't decide to do so unless you feel you always have enough money. And you won't feel that way unless you think that way.

And affirmations are a great way to get you thinking that way.

"So, affirmations work on changing my thinking, which sets things in motion toward new results?"

Yes.

"So, what's my part to play? How do I 'give prosperously'? And what do I give?"
